The Aboards W-series is the ultimate board ! You definetly have to try it out at least Landings are really smooth, pop is insane and i feel i have 100% control of the board. It is also a master of eating chops u will go straight trough everything like a boat I ride the 141X43 with bindings, The inserts on the board is super strong and i never heard about anyone managing to brake them , this is very important because it the damaged insert that causes most injuries when we ride bindings. Good luck

The Aboards W-series is a true Wakestyle board. Aboards have years of experience with boards that can be ridden with boots, and their overall quality is superb.
Why don't you ask to for a test session on the water?
The people here can give advise over their favorite boards, but you have to test them and ride what you like.

Yep, take the W-series for a spin! Aboards has great boards that last forever and the pads and straps are also very nice. If you're knees don't like it, put aside you're dreams about riding boots. Freeride with long jumps and rotations or wave riding can be epic to...

I LOVE the LaLuz. The most amazing thing is how Xenon combined the softness and comfort of the board with performance. Pop, landings, upwind... everything about the LaLuz is top notch.

I tried a friend's laluz 3 years ago. i wasn't looking for a board. 2 days later i had to get my own cause i needed to get some sleep. haven't been able to take it off my feet since. i haven't tried the other brand mentioned but i have yet to find a board that feels so smooth and yet delivers so much performance. the laluz is in a class of its own and anyone who tried it (and doesn't work for a competitor) will tell you the same. looks badass too! i mean...not that we care what our equipment looks like but... still...

Gili.H - If you ride your boards like you edit your videos then i take your word for it. The LaLuz is probably what you say it is.

actually i find a bit strange to compare La Luz with W-series. W-series is other style and level board, dedicated for wakestyle use. while La Luz is quite flat board, accordingly it is not board for wakestyle but freestyle. and from freestyle boards the right alternative from Aboards would be X-series. besides X-series is freestyle/wakestyle board which is intended also for riding with boots, so it would be good choice if you looking for 2in1 board.

I think that if you are looking for a Xenon then for wake style and new school you should go with the Infra. There's this one kid at the local spot that does tricks i can't even understand and he's riding an Infra i think.

Basically, i've been riding the cable more and more the past few weeks.
And I want a board on which I can put some bindings on a take for a spin around the cable.
My overall idea in kitesurfing (not cable) is that I want to develop towards wakestyle tricks.
HOWEVER, I have yet to land my first trick in kitesurfing. The conditions haven't been good so I haven't been able to practice, but i'm doing most of the kickers/sliders at the cable park and i'm trying to do some raileys straight off edging, can't land them yet but I get good height and my stance is good.
So i'm aiming towards practicing wakestyle tricks with my kite, but I know you can't run without walking, so thats why i'm interested in the La Luz. And I don't want to kite with bindings just yet. I want to kite with straps for a little while first.
Had I been more experienced I probably would take the W Series without hesitating, but from the comments on this forum (feels like La Luz is a God) it feels like you can do a bunch with the Xenon.
However, I would need for my board to be able to perform at the cable-park and hopefully put boots on.
Not sure i've made myself clear, just trying to specify more so you guys can help me make a decision.

BTW, for those of you who have knowledge of the ABoard W Series (can't find much info on the internet about it), how does is compare to a Cabrinha Custom 2011? Which one would you rather recommend?
