The water is still very cold. Last week we had our last night with minus temps. But this week temps where close to 30C so it should be a little better. But water still cold. Tems will drop comming week but still +20 i believe. I'm still riding 5/4

4.3 will be fine, even if the weather changes.

I'm still riding 5/4. Winds have been shitty for about a month now for a weekend rider..
Go for the 4/3 if you don't have anything better.
Don't know about boots, haven't kited in 1 month now. Getting really frustrating. However if you drive around, you will get your sesh. It's just that I still need to catch rides.

I'm just a beginner and I spent an hour in the water (literally in the water, not on the water ) about a month ago in a 5/3 and I was fine. As the temperatures are going up now anything 4 should be ok when you get here.

As for IJburg. It's a somewhat limited spot that is, from what I've heard, only worth going with northerly winds.
