I am 87kg. And ride a 134/44 TT. Low end sucks. i have a 12 and 10 Parks. My range is from 10 to 35 kn. I really notice the low end issues. I am considering switching to 2012, but want to test first. Other than that, i love my parks:-)

Consider the 14 if you do. It is a super fun kite, and it will probably give you that extra kick you need on the low end :-)

That is what iI was thinking, but I believe the 12and 14 will have overlapping range, so I,d better get a LW kite like the EPIC one discussed a lot in the forum. :D

HI! Im 78kg riding 5,9 Wainman surfboard and 134x41 twintip. Asking about low end of 6m park because want to buy smaler kite for strong winds. Top end of my second kite is around 25-30 knots, want to know is 6m Park will work from 30 knots. Or is to smal for me? I can buy second heand
park for good price but don't want to have any wind gap between my two kites 9m Wainman and 6m Park. Thx

Last season my small kite was a 2011 7m Park. This kite was just too small for my spot. I rarely had enough.

So my question is, if the 2012s have better low end, and I want to get out in wind say 2-3 knots less than what was required for my 2011 7m, do I want the 2012 7m or do I need to jump up a size to the 8m? (72kg/160lb, riding surfboards in surf on 20m lines)

I was 98kg :( at the end of the season and out on my 2012 8m Park & 6'2" 2011 naish global from 22 - 25 knots i had to work it a bit in the 22 knot lulls but was still able to go upwind toeside in constant ocean swell & small waves. I would've probably been better off sticking to my 10m until it hit 25 knots but love the turning speed of a smaller kite.

At 86 kg I can take the 8 out in about 20-22 mph. I normally will not take out until there is a little more, but I can definitely go in it. I would usually go with the 5'9'' skater...or 6'1'' global. :-)

I did not ride the 7 last year, but I doubt there is a full 3 knots gain.

Thanks for the feedback. Looks like the 8m will be the call. Especially if it still has good high end.

It definitely does have good high end. Solid kite and super fun for waves :P
