Hi, I have tried two times to kite without wearing anything under my harness, but each time, I end up having rashes on each side of the waist (at the level of the bone) and on the lower back. I was in Punta Cana during the last week of february and kited for two hours without my wetsuit or rashguard, and I still have scars on my waist. Is it supposed to do hurt or leaves rashes? How do the some riders wear nothing under their harness and have nothing? What harness does not hurt when you don't wear something under the harness? I have the ION Hummer 2010 Attachment:

Thanks, Have a good day

ASAIK, all harnesses are like this. Just have 3-5 sessions, and your skin will get used to it. Same thing with footstraps and skin on feet.

I have the same problem and it really sucks.
Even when I wear a rashguard (with wetsuit no probs) my skin gets so irritated after a few days in a row kiting that it kills my sessions. I've tried glide (like for running) and baby powder which helps a little.
Any other tips? May have to switch to the dreaded seat harness for warm days.
