Black and red 14m 2011 Cabrinha Switchblade blew into the sound today (kite only...no lines) headed South from Waves (lawn anchor broke). Happened around 6:30 p.m. If you happen to see it (will probably end up around Buxton) please let me know.

Hello Mr.bluetuesday. I am very sorry about your kite. I know the feeling. If you lost your kite in Waves and it was heading south to Buxton it was probably blowing N or NE. In this case your kite will probably end up in the main land, or get stuck in one of the small islands that are in the middle of the sound, or maybe end up in Ocracoke. But in case I hear something I will let you know.

Update: Kite was found and saved near the DQ in Waves. Big thumbs up to Chris from REAL who happened to be hanging out in a friends hot tub when my 14m came strolling along. Big rip along a panel, but already have it fixed.
