This is bare board with the foam foot pads in place (factory fitted), but no straps, fins or screws.
Edit
The complete board with straps and 40cm fins is 8.45kg
Was curious today after fitting some longer 42cm fins so weighed the board, it came in at 8.7 for the complete board with 6 wet footstraps.
Going by the serial number my boards is #19 so I guess that makes it one of the early ones and all things considered would say the weight is the same as new after 9 weeks of use :thumb:

My board should arrive today! Finally.
Should be the second batch (without water leakage)
I will weigh it...

I got it! :jump: :jump:

Weight without straps and fins: 6,1kg (13,4 pounds)
I weighed my last years model: 7,8kg (17,2 pounds)
It's quite a big difference, don't you think so?

Anyways, it looks sweet and fast. I'm putting on the NSI race straps and a set of Rista's and now wait for some wind... :thumb:

dont forget to put silicon in every hole befor fitting the straps and make sure the airvalve is closed.
What Rista fins do you have? Ordered online or have you been testing some befor?

spacemonkey, is the weight of 7.8kg from last year's board with or without straps? My North Race LTD 2011 recently drank a bit of water by leaking fin boxes, and I am not sure if I got the water completely out again.

Put silicone in the footstrap holes? I haven't heard about it but it sound like a good idea. I presume it is to make sure the footstap screws don't come out. It might also help to stop any potential leaks if the holes are self tapping and you are afraid that it might pierce into the core of the board. Is that right?

Thanks for the advice.

I've heard some other brands boards that are produced in the same factory are leaking through the strap inserts, therefor I filled them with silicone. This is the only reason, the screw itself does not need it, it holds perfect without any silicone.

You mean put silicon only in the wholes being used or in the empty ones as well?
Can you post a pic?
