I am sorry to disappoint you but I use to ride for few of these big companies and I knew what was going on behind the scenes, and this is probably one of the reasons why I decided to start a kite company on my own. So you know we are using the same high quality grade then 75% of the companies out there. The other 25% uses a lower grade. But as you can see no companies will tell you that their kites have tendency to stretch after a period of time. All kites do stretch after a period of time, and its a fact. Maybe yours doesn't stretch because you are seating behind your computer too much instead of kiting. So take your kite off your wall and go kiting. You will see that after a period of 4 to 6 months of good use, your kite will feel different then a new one.

So basically what you are saying is you cannot control the quality of the bars being made. Very reassuring. Actually I'm struggling to think of a decent bar that has cheap visible screws that rust holding it together.

That Quick Release is looking sweet.
We have had some crazy winds here in the UK today and getting some rave reviews from some of the guys who have been out using their smallest Renegades and Screamers!

You gotta check a 2012 Core Sensor bar...it as Zero Screws...or Rivets

Probably the lightest weight and highest quality out there
Size 52/45cm wide.
I just weighed it on a scale.Complete with lines,floats,depower system,chickenloop loop etc etc
Only 1.65 lbs = 0.75kg

Just as a comparison with a "benchmark bar" we compare most bars to: North trust bar 55/46cm
I just weighed it the same way complete and it is 2.5 lbs =1.13kg (2011 bar with bar end rivets)

What I am saying Mr.KevinTheKiter is that some times this happens. It is part of the mass production and it is very very hard to control this because they all look the same until they get used and abused, and after 6 months a small percentage of these screws might get this rusted color. I have not had any of mine turn this color. But I know one of the schools had one 13 months ago that I saw and I reported this to the factory. They told me that they are doing the best they can to control this. But some times their suppliers drop by mistake different type of stainless still screws in the batch.
Also for your information, our EPIC "XTEND" bars are also glued and then they screw it together. We do both of these for security reasons. We could just glue it and leave it that way. If you want that, I can do this for your personal bar. Now this is what I call "CUSTOMER SERVICE".

The new "3G II" EPIC kites will be out by the end of July. The RENEGADE 13 v2 and the INFINITY v2 have been out for a while now and these are part of the (3G II) kites.

About the 3G II Screamer what is new about them? I think you've said that the 3G models were really good and that it was difficult to make them better (which I don't doubt!

Hello Mr.olivierdorsner,,
The (3G) kites are such a big success that we decided not to change them until we are able to make something better then what we have now. So the only changes we did on the new (3G II) were the font of the "EPIC" logo, plus we did add a new valve material, plus we also added the new "Epic Metal Pulley Sliders". So if you already own an EPIC 3G kite I would not recommend to get the new ones since they are basically the same. But some how by having that new "EPIC" font on the kites, makes them look even sharper then what he have now for the "3G" models.
