Rest my case ... anyways thanks for the good and BAD feedback on the kites, I'm sure it'll be OK, I wish the E had just a little more bar pressure, then it'd be a no brainer. But I like feeling the Kite.

I'll keep you all posted with some GoPro footage and pics.

Thanks Hansen for the great "IN YA'FACE" attachement of the LOW Profile of the Method gfx, jeez. Love it when people are so opinionated without the facts.

Quick question, not to change the thread or anything but just curious. Why do ya'll hate switch so much? or maybe not hate cause that is a strong word, but dislike Switch, seems like a brand that just wants to change the way things are done, imagine how many people can actually afford to buy decent gear and get into the sport. Seems like an honorable concept.

Tnx.

Yeah. . . Buddy.
....with a smiley face to go with it.
Thought you would want to post a pic of the kite model that matches your graphic illustration.
Makes the illustration more effective.....I think. Buddy.

why is giving an honest opinion considered 'hating' or 'dislike' of a company? i don't hate Switch. I do hate the 12 Method. I do like the 10M Nitro. Their prices are very good and that's why i gave them a shot. I would consider another Nitro (though i hate one pump systems). If you only want to hear good things...then i'd suggest sticking with magazines for reviews and stay away from the forums.

My apologies jkrug in advance if you felt I was personally directing my question towards any comments you may have posted, my question or comment wasn't specific to this thread, I just see a lot of trash talk around the forum about switch kites.

One reason I love forums overall, is cause get a decent conversation going, and gets information out there that would normally be too hard to get and nested together.

So let keep it honest.

no need to apologize; i didn't think you were directing it at me specifically. you're certainly correct in that there is alot of hate spewed about on the forum. i don't think of Switch as much as i think of Epic and even Cabrinha sometimes as being in the crosshairs. i have no idea why, but i try to just ignore those battles.

hope you enjoy your new kites!

OnB:
Where I come from 'buddy' and 'pal' have a negative connotation. My friend in Newfoundland always tells jokes about 'buddy did this' or 'buddy did that.' To be honest, I thought it a bit condescending smiley face or not but so be it. :thumb:

Regarding the post, it was said all four Switch models have low wing profiles. This false statement has been made repeatedly here and elsewhere as a reason for negativity. Fact is none of them have a low wing profile. Perhaps the constant curve design with no corners in the tubes makes them appear different but they simply do not have low wing profiles. IMHO, when someone comes on here and asks for information about a kite, they deserve an honest answer and when I see BS regarding my designs, I will come on here and point it out.
Cheers!
