Looking at the top 50 freestyle, nobody. Where are the American riders competing? Local area :?:
Although for racing you have riders in the top 10...

I guess it is because all the good riders are on Hawaii...and would you leave that spot, paying money on top, to ride in a less good place under pressure?

What I think is missing is a nice US tour...there is an European and Asian tour...why no US?
Texas, Hatteras, Florida, San Francisco...top locations, 4 stops, would be awesome!

Contrary to what most magazines advertise, FL actually isn't very windy at all. They get wind on occasion but it's light by comparison to most other consistently windy places. You'd have to have the tour stop there in the wintertime when it has the best odds of wind.

Could do a Mau'i, Frisco, Oregon, Padre Island (north or south could work), Michigan, Cape Cod, New Jersey, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida tour pretty successfully if you planned the timing out right.

There's a collegiate tour that goes around here in the U.S. but they don't get the participation or recognition necessary to really make it a big thing. I bet if you could get the right kind of sponsors involved with the right kind of riders, you could really make a pretty successful U.S. Kite Tour.
