The Flying Frog was first performed by students at the early ages of kitesurfing, combined with multiple kiteloops, it used to be performed on the beach, although landing occasionally occured in nearby structures such as buildings, cars ar trees. Due to the risk involved it was abandonned for many years. It is a pleasure to see that it is fashionable again in safer circumstances.

trick pictured is mis-identified. it's not the flying frog, but a variation on the 'o-sh*t,' which itself a version of the 'splat,' also sometimes known as the 'ohnonotagain.'
personally, i perfected this trick quite early on, and have the misshapen facial features to prove it.
