Stupid reasons you missed out on a kite session

I'm missing a sesh right now cause I dont feel like driving 30 minutes to the beach.

I was gonna get a sesh this afternoon with a Really Cool Chick
but
the locking mechanism on my prosthetic broke as i was packing to go .

"That's Not stupid" , your thinking , "that's just Bad Luck" !

NO -- i knew it was gonna break two months ago,(it was wearing out) , but was Too lazy
to do something about it !!

Oh Matty you have a lot to learn!. The amount of sandwich making time saving provided by a wife is dwarfed by the time you spend at chick flicks, the theatre, causons weddings and searching the shops for the latest new couch or dinning table set. Not to mention all your kiting money being spend on "more important things for both of us".

right now i'm missing mad sessions cuz of a finger injury that wont fucking heal grrrr :angryfire:

Stupid reasons i'll miss my next session. cracked my board from the nose all the way up tp the bindings.... arrrrggg!.

there'l be some furious sanding and glassing tonight to get it going asap!...

1. went to local spot, blowing like 13 knts
2. pump up my kite on a rush and when was about to launch saw him deflate due to valvel delamination.
3. give the kite for repair, took out the wetsuit, grab my things, went home
3. ... just to realize, mid way, that it was the 7m -> the 12m was in the car and ok

in my defense the 7 and the 12 are the same model and colour

Ok, so that's gonna change when kids gets older? 'Cause I dread that whole birthday situation! My kids are small so I need to be there to ensure they don't: get beaten up/beat up other kids/drink from the toilet/face plant the cake/(strangle/decapitate/drown) some random pet/eat (superman/pearls/part of a dragons tail/the ear of another kid), and the list goes on and on. And all of this while being in an inferno of screaming and trying to avoid stuff being catapulted across the room. This of cause always happens on a saturday/sunday so it takes away a whole day of kiting and the wife don't give bonus points for attending these things.

There's this one kid who ALWAYS have sun and howling winds on his birthday. I f**king hate that kid!

So yeah, going to other kids birthdays definitely is my #1 stupid reason to miss a session.

getting all techincal watching rain radar and live wind readings waiting for the best part of thge day to do the session to discover yourve missed the best and the rest of the day is shizer.
