Monaro V4

Postby pouch » Mon Jun 25, 2012 12:20 pm

I had the cahnce to try the brand new Monaro V4 this weekend. i am currently riding with the North 2012.
I was stoked to see how easy it was to go fast with the board !
upwind wind leg was more complicated. because the 2 boards works differently.

for the moment I am struggled for switching from north to airush !

Did the V4 come out recently?

Where can you buy one? (in US)

Yeah, it came out with the new Sectors, but the make them in small runs. So, if you want one you need to pre order or be in a place that has regular races and then maybe the local shop will stock one.

The Monaro v4 runs $1749 with fins and straps.

The trouble may be tracking one down to buy.

Im not sure what the price complete with fins and straps is for the North or RRD.

$1749 is not bad considering Mike Z boards go for 2k +

I think the North boards are around $1600 in the US, but they don't come with fins. Fins are $600 or $700.

Still considering the Aguera CR69 with fins, straps, and shipping for $1250... It's a 9 month old design, but with the reports I'm seeing about the quality of many of the 2012 boards , maybe I'm better off.
