I record all my sessions in an app on my iPad and here are my stats so far :

Renegade 11m : 16,7%
Screamer 12m : 29,2%
Infinity 16m : 4,2%
XR2 19m : 8,3%
Speed3 21m : 41,7%

In conclusion, 54,2% of my sessions this year are on specific light wind kites. I would miss a lot of good sessions if I didn't had LW kites and boards. You guys who live in 20+ knots location are blessed!

Not blessed with 20 knots. Majority of sessions are in 12ish knots. Just prefer to huck around a small kite on a surfboard than mow the lawn on a tt. Would guess that 80% of my riding is strapless. Not that I don't like my tt but prefer boots for that so save it for the right conditions. Plenty of light air strapless time ensures your on your game when the next big day comes.

Recently just got the XR2 LW 17m. I am surprised I like this kite so much. (I weigh 110 lbs.) Before that, my biggest kite was a 10m... I think I would like to get a larger board for light wind for the ocean but I have no idea what to get...

Maybe I'll just play my guitar for lighter wind... :love1: ...I hate being bored!

Hey Seb i just crunched the numbers from my calendar notes into percentages like you did

Let's see...since the start of this year (190 days) been out 96 times :!:

19M...31times.....sooooooo 32.30%
12M ...42 times.....sooooooo 43.75%
10M ....10 times......sooooooo 10.41%
8M.....13 times......soooooooooo13.54%

Since the month of June winds are much lighter and i have barely use the 12 :o
I am sure the percentage of the 19 will surpass the 12 real real soon

......Thanks Seb for pushing me to such precision :D ................. :surf: :sun: ...................................

I don't actually record my sessions so I can't give exact #'s, but here's an estimate since January:

45 sessions on my 15m Matrixx ( that I bought in April)
15 sessions on my 11.5 Kahoona
3 sessions on my 8m RPM that I just sold and don't miss one bit!

Since I bought my 15M I saw my progression increase by 5 times because I get out so much more.

14m RPM, but after all this talk on here and sitting on the beach for the past week I'm thinking about getting a 21m Speed 3.

17m Fat Lady

I bought it as a light wind kite to pair with a skim, just to find out that i mainly use it in those days where others are with their 12m ridding under-power

so i am using it much more than i though i would

Since my wife got her XR2LW 17 Riot she also progressed by 5 times in the waves
She is out so much in LW and is having sooooooo much fun

She rides LW strapped Whip 5'5" and likes to do in 9-10-11 knots her favorite aerial moves
