Specifically Panama City Beach FL to New Orleans ?
Looking for a chance to get out & see what it's all about

Selling my laser to buy a raceboard / lightwind board & kite to start playing around with.

Good move
If you have never kited before, you will need to find a bigger area for launch the kite than any old beach you could launch the laser at, also need cleaner cross or onshore air for a launch.

And you will need more than one kite, for general kiting, two will do, for racing you will end up with at least three to mximise your time on the water :thumb:

edit, just seen you have 151 posts so I guess you know a bit about kiting already :)
