my worst nightmare has come true. this should be moved to the worst things in kiteboarding thread.

no clarity on what "freestyle" world championship they are talking about. the non kiter reads this and thinks that Toby is on the top of this wonderful sport instead of featuring somebody that has not pigeonholed himself into the smallest niche of it.

yes, but at least the NY Times didn't let nevin sayre use the article to directly advance his agenda,
though the little extra info boxes appearing to the left of the text slant badly against kiting and give little information about windsurfing...
It's irresponsible to have done no fact checking on this article, even if it is in the sports section of the paper.
The Times aint what it used to be....

Hes getting all "clean cut" and shit.....

One of two things causing this.

1. Trying to cut down on the parasitic drag for the comp
2. There is some hot lady around he is trying to impress

they clearly made a mistake with freestyle and airstyle...I mailed them, not sure if it reached anyone to change it. I do airstyle, not freestyle and don't want to take any of such credits.

12 riders in main field, due to PKRA limitations...luckily I personally took care that riders like Alvaro and Ariel can join, because they are good at it.

Looks like Saturday we will run the Airstyle Doubles.

So many haters here:-) I think the airstyle tricks are cool and would love to be able to get that kind of time in the air. But I am glad the Times didn't use the toe pointing picture....
