Has to be flexifoil pull pull system simple and easy to use plus doesn't get chewed up like clam cleats do

Totally agree. Simple, effective, durable and reliable - gets my vote without a doubt.

OK, no time for a picture right now but
you take the North setup apart:
remove the trim strap pull(with the velcro on it) and undo the knot and pull the rope all the way out
you will end up with the line only attached to the cleat
undo the loop on the cleat and replace the cleat with a stainless ring,
the line then goes from the new ring down to the iron heart and through it (you will have to pull the pin and take it apart to get the line through and reasemble with the pin)
then the rope goes up to and through the pulley on the two front lines and back down through the ring and back up to the top of the pulley where it is attached using the center line from the kite holding the pulley around the small bar. the easiest way to attach the rope to the pulley is to just slide it through the larkshead already holding the pulley to the center line and tying a knot in the end. do not overtighten the knot as you may have to move it a bit to get the front and back lines the same length. i also put the stopper ball back on the rope as i am reassembling it because i like having that option available but it is not necessary. it is called a Z-line and any mountain search and rescue guy should be able to show it to you. (Maybe you can google it?) maybe i can get a picture up.

Hi, I searched z-line and understand the concept, however I'd really like to see how it is implimented on a kite setup. The way I imagine it, you'd still need a cleat do how is this any different from the current setup? To me it actually seems more complicated. I'm really interested in this as I'm not completely happy with the current bars on the market and would like to make my own.

Apart from the 'negatives' associated with below the bar, I can't think or a more efficient way or doing it than what slingshot and Naish are doing at the moment.

I've seen North 2013 product catalogue, not the bar in real life. Will be interesting to see how the changes are accepted, can't remember if the dangly trim rope has been fixed, looked like the new stuff was all about the bar, chicken loop and trim system looks the same as last year from memory.

I will refresh yer memory..

New adjustments for rear lines, new width adjustment, new floats, new grip pattern n color, new centerline eye then thre is the(.trimsystem..).new cleat, new stopper ball, new centerline, new safety line routing. No more centerline Velcro on stopper to eat line, no more safety line catching in cleat,no more twisting of depowered end around rigging.....ohhh it is just wonderful.... I think sept release date but it could be a little later..
