ok i'm working on a highly important task at the moment. That is naming the group out riding. How many was out? saying 3 or 7 or 15... far to boring. we need to funk it up with some interesting names.

This is what i have so far

by your self = nigel no maates
2-3 = Several dudes
4-6 = crew
7-10 = Posse
11-15 = Squadron
15-20 = Gaggle
21-25 = Swath
25+ = Poultice

Hit me with your ideas. Ps There doesn't need to be any logic involved. if the name seems to suit regarless of its actual meaning it will be added to the list. Swath and poultice make no sense but seem to fit the discription.

PS yes i am a few sandwiched short of a picnic.

I think around 7 riders should be referred to as a "Bevvy"

In a sentence: "It was a great day out riding, there was only a bevvy of boarders on the water"

what no emotos?

anyway....get real

3 kiters on the beach should be seen as ---a worry of kiters

and when on the water riding a ---trouble of kiters

why? they'll be trying to impress each other

7 on the soup should be seen as a hazard of kiters...

you know why...

when on the beach tuning, by waving thier shit around a distress of d-wads...

15 both on the beach practicing /ahem, tuning and in the soup showing off a rudeness of kiters...

so anyway...keep it real
cheers

Here at my local spot anything more than 4 riders is called a 'mob' or 'stampede'... mostly due to f&$%# blind intermediates who can create a sea gridlock with 4 kites in the air. Concepts such as turning away or lowering your kite if you are downind of someone (or raising it if you a re upwind) are unknown.
Yes, looking at you, you, you and you at Yungan and Kuanyin beach!!!!! :angryfire:

But if you are a decent kiter you should easily be able to navigate around these lesser skilled kiters :thumb: we were all learners once!!!
