Hi im 16 i starded kiting like one year ago and im deciding if i want to go tricks or the course \
i think the freestyle theres obiously more competition theres even kids 9 years old doing megaloops but i really like the part you freedom and let your body take it off.
and in course i like that the adrenaline of going fast, but i wanna go pro in one like being competitive to go to international championships and pkra tours but i think im too old for freestyle?
and in course i also have a very good sailing backround 7 years of sailing, went to 3 opti worlds
24th in northamerican laser championship and asisted to 1 laser radial worlds representing Mexico
also went to volvo world youths in laser radial in Ireland but i changed it for kite more adrenaline
so my question is in wich could i do better? Like get to be really pro?
Thanks

no way too old if you don't let chicks and beer cloud your ambitions lol
do both, see what you like, then go waveriding in decent waves and give both of them up lol!
pro is as in making money - not easy in kiting but i am for sure not one to say not possible cos there are those doing it - not many, but some..

Freestyle if you want to have knee injury, or race if you want to have back injury...lol
you're definitly not too old to freestyle, I'm 34 and I manage most of mobe and handle passes, it's just a question of body and mental training.
whatever the practice you'll chose, remeber to vary a lot during training, even other sports, to stay at the top of your physical potential.
