Update Kite Course Racing World Championships 2012

Postby Toby » Tue Aug 14, 2012 1:56 pm

Ladies and Gentlemen,

The Notice of Race for the upcoming 2012 Kite Course Racing World Championships in Cagliari, Italy, has been updated with some additional information, and we have published travel and accommodation information issued by our host, the Yacht Club Cagliari.

Furthermore you can find sample course configurations in the events section.

Please check this link: http://www.internationalkiteboarding.or ... &Itemid=81

We are sitting at almost 80 registrations at the moment and consider introducing a quota at 120 sailors per fleet, so please make sure that your sailors register in time !

Kind regards,
Markus Schwendtner

From what I hear most of these race directors have a hard time setting up a upwind downwind course. How are they going to be setting these courses and running only some fleets with 120 racers?
