Going to Maui for three weeks from the UK in November. United Airlines baggage policy is a bit steep especially as we are stopping off in San Fran on the way back (so 3 x's the fee).
Therefore thinking of hireing a board, but from a quick look that looks a bit expensive as well!
Anyone know of a place where I can hire (twin tip) for a reasonable price for three weeks please?
Thanks.......Keith

Depends on how picky you want to be... You can get one off craigslist for $200 if you want something a couple years old. Or rent one from Naish or Neil Pryde. I have some older ones for $200...

I fly in and out of Maui all the time on united and us airways. They have never charged me or anybody I know a fee for your board bag. Just go for it.
