I could meet with the Viper staff during my stay in the Outer Banks and ride with them few times in different downwinders and really enjoyed it.
Real friendly, fun guys and great riders.
They also offer high quality Photo & Video services of the Downwinders/excursions they offer.
Plenty of quality gear to Demo and choose from.

Throughout this summer our VIPER Team has been at multiple locations doing equipment demos. At one of the Demo Days at Kitty Hawk Kites Waves Village Kiteboarding Resort, we met up with Kiteboarder Mickey Roy. Earlier this summer he had taken several downwinders with us and we were very impressed.

The conditions that day were 35-40mph and he was on a 9m Epic Renegade.

He was one of a handful of kiteboarders on the water and he was putting on a show for all to see! After helping a customer I grabbed my camera and headed out to capture the moment.

On Mickeys first pass, he pull the trigger and up he went in super stylish big air form! He was way up there and tweaked out for all to see... CLICK... I took the shot!

Keep flying hi Mickey! We are ready to take you riding anytime!

It's what you tried to avoid when you were first learning to kite. When you avoided it for the first time it was a milestone in your kiting progress. Next came kiting upwind. Now you can pay for the priveledge.

I got a kick out of the "Kiteboard with a Legend" option for $625...

If I start a downwinder and Dimitri is around, it's usually best to get out ahead or wait until they go....because one way or other there is going to be a lot of cockblocking and kites crashing near your head!

He's a blast to watch and full of contagious enthusiasm. And a great instructor if he still does lessons. But pay to kite with him?, I dunno...

The Outer Banks serves up a wide range of conditions. Yesterday, we took Mr. Jon Gates on a downwinder ocean side.

He showed skill and technique doing a true downwinder in light conditions.

Mr. Gates drew ooo's and aaa's from all the beach goers...

as he ripped through the shore break and performed back rolls and kite loops.

A true joy for us to provide our services to such a great person!
