Just got mine this week. Tested it out at our cable park yesterday since we don't have any wind.

You should also check http://www.filmme.tv/ which is supposed to track you in 2 axis or even 3 (zoom). Soloshot is 1-axis pan-system.

I can find absolutely NO information anywhere on that website ?

A movie without anything but some action shots - but nothing about what and how or anything ?

The facebook site does not show anything either...

Someone who got more details and specs/pictures, or is it a "non existing" product ?

That seems like a concept product, I think they put it out there to see how much buzz they can generate before they start really investing in R and D, proto typing...

On a side note, I have some pretty similar ability's with my CCTV. The software I run does object tracking, intruder tracking, facial recognition, and crowd detection and if you run that with a PTZ camera with variable focus and zoom, it could easily do what that website is suggesting. So it is possible even with existing technology although it would be nice if this was all enclosed in a water proof box which would connect via wifi to several cameras in range and it could control them all simultaneously and view and control what is happening via your iPhone or iPad from shore....

Generating buzz indeed.

I asked from the guy who was white water kayaking in the film if he knows anything more, no reply for 12 hours :). I don't know who the snowkiter was so I cannot ask him..

On the news, starting from 2:06, I hope viewing of this is not limited to Finland only: http://www.katsomo.fi/?progId=134464

I'd say it is existing product. But we will know more after 11 days (at the latest).

Works just like they say. Set up is easy. Level tripod adjust your camera and set your zoom. Center it by their instructions and your good to go. The only problem with the set up is if it is really bright out it is hard to see the red light to center it. They should have used a blue or green light for the centering instead of red.
