Been riding Switchblades but want lighter bar pressure and want a kite with drift plus boosting. Sounds like this is gonna be the ticket. Anyone else out there ridden the bigger sizes? (I read the reviews from XL Houston already)

the European Slalom championship was held in Gizzeria from july 25 to july 29th.
4 days of action with wind from 9 to 23 kts ... 12 races , many of them with the elimination ladder system .. this means we spent a lot of time on the water with the new Rally 2013

Lorenzo Giovannelli clearly won the title alway using just the Rally 14 / 12

The kite has a super acceleration and an up wind angle worthy of the best race kites.
The top end speed is also great. We measured with 18 kts wind a top speed of 32.33 with the slalom board and 29.68 with the Race (side wind )

It has a bit higher pressure (that I love) compared to the 2012 but as I told , it pulls more, it's really more stable and it holds even the strongest gusts (probably due to the add of the mini bladder and the flex tip system, transforming them in acceleration and speed.

Good review, thanks.

I can't see anything beating my 2012 14M Rally. :) I just love that kite.

Has anyone rode the tiny sizes? (6/7/8) Just curious how that performs in comparison to the 2012.

I am sure the 6m will be insane. Knowing the difference between the 2012 9m and 2013 9m I know the 6 will be great. I have a 2012 6m rally and it's a great kite. I think the different flying characteristics of the 2013 rally's will definitely benefit the smaller sizes. A bit more power in the turns would be awesome. My 12 should arrive soon and I will post thoughts. Super excited to get it. I have spent a couple more days on the 9 and can't say enough how great that kite flys!

Is it possible to have a little translation for the main aspects?

don't want to get off topic but does any one know which kites come with which of the 3 bars? They have 17, 20 and 23 in bars so i assume

17 = 6-8
20 = 9-12(?)
23 = 14 +

is this correct?

correct
17 = 4 - 8
20 = 9 - 12
14 = 23
