Hey fellow kiters, surfers , windsurfers

Feel its only fair to warn you guys that WA is now probably the most dangerous place in the world for shark attacks. Our government and local authorities are doing next to nothing to sort out the problem while our fellow water users get killed. There have been 5 deaths so far this year due to attacks by great whites and a number of injuries and near misses.

Most local water users are thinking twice before entering the water, so, if you are planning or have planned a holiday here in the near future, you should seriously consider other options.

But what would you have the authorities do about it? How many people killed in car accidents? It's unfortunate but what can you really do other than stay out of the water? Just curious if any of those attacked were wearing wetsuits. Maybe the great white population has increased over the years.

Play music for "JAWS" now !!!

Just for a prospective :
Sharks make up a Really small % of critters on the planet, that actually Kill
humans. Were lucky that Sharks "Don't" kill as many of us as snakes do
every year world-wide ; and they don't eat us afterward , it's like they kill us for Fun !!

These guys say ( 6 a year ) die in the USA from snake bites ; but the short search
i did had numbers in Africa and Asia that were so Big, that i didn't wanna repeat it.
It was in the thousands !!!

Not brave, just realistic.
We are on their 'turf' and there they make the rules.
Like the guys said, we are lucky they are such friendly creatures.
They have been around way longer than us and probably will still be here when we will be extinct.
Tough to swallow, but fact of life.

Really tired of the "its their turf" argument. Unless you guys dont eat fish, you are hypocrites. Fish also have their own turf, yet we dont seem to worry about them to much.

Think Ive changed my mind. All you macho hero shark lovers are welcome to WA.

Book your tickets now!

It will help decrease the odds.

Ill even tell you where to go!

Notice not many of you live in WA, I do, and it is real concern. I knew one of those taken recently. The degree of separation is getting closer. Just imagine it was one of your loved ones who was taken. I'd wonder if your sentiment would be the same. Easy to say protect the sharks when you line somewhere else and don't know those who were taken. Get some perspective.
