I have recently started kite hydrofoiling, and all of a sudden my biggest kite which used to be fast feels too big and too slow. I have a 14m blade vertigo, and it was amazingly fast for its size when I got it, but now the foil begs for a faster kite when the wind is really light. I get about the same low wind performance from my 10m Vertigo so maybe I must just forget a bigger kite? But those light wind conditions are so nice on a hydrofoil, I just want to push the low wind limit to the max.
Can anyone recommend a very fast kite, but that is light weight as well? Preferably no more than three struts, but fast through the sky and fast turning as well. Something like the SS turbine looks like it would fit the requirements, but I am looking for about a 12 or 13m kite. Any suggestions out there?
did you have already try the Blade Fat Lady?? it´s 17m and have only 3 struts, and it´s an awsome kite, very fast for his size... if you can give it a try!!!
Gear: SCREAMER 7/9/12/14 for Free Style. Not to forget the SCREAMER 10 LTD for my one go kite. SURF 8 & 12 for the waves. RENEGADE 6.5 and 9 for all around kiting. And some times I use my son's JUNIOR PRO 4 when it blows 45+ for the waves. Just try the EPICKITES and you will see for yourself.

If you get a chance Mr.ChristoffM, you should also try to demo the INFINITY v2 from EPIC KITES. This kite was designed for light wind condition only. But you can also hold it up to 20 knots if you want but it won't be fun. The perfect wind will be 7 to 12 knots. I have used it in 3 to 6 knots but I was on a SUP board with 2 of my friends.
Yip, I tried the fat lady. Amazing light wind kite, I was truly impressed. But the 14m vertigo is so similar it is almost like a slightly smaller fat lady, and yet still too slow for the foil, and actually too powerful for what you really need on a foil, so I definitely want something slightly smaller (which would already make it faster) but also a kite as fast as possible. I am probably just a bit too fussy, because the 14m vertigo is already the fastest and lightest 14m kite I have ever tried, but maybe there is a faster kite out there that is also lightweight?
How big is the infinity? It is probably very similar to the fat lady? Should be great, but a bit too much power for what I really need on a foil I think?

My experience on a foil leads me to the ride. 10meter. Two struts. Super light and stable. I think sheet and go is great on a foil.
I think 2013 park will work great with foil too. Big difference from before

ChristoffM,
If you are going to use a FOIL board then go with a kite that is at least 10,12 maximum 14 meter, but make sure they are fast moving kites. No bigger then 14. The INFINITY v2 won't be a good idea because it has so much power in light wind. The INFINITIY v2 has no numbers because it is made for light wind from 7 to 14 knots. So no need to know what size it is.
So my suggestion will be to try to demo most of the kites that people have been mentioning but also try the SCREAMER 10 & 12 and the RENEGADE 11. Also if you get a chance try the SCREAMER 14, because it is a very fast kite and it generates all its power from moving it in light winds.

Whaooo....with all do respect Mr.Bille who said you were idiots!!! I just said that the INFINITY v2 was made for light wind only, and no need to know how big it's size is. You can always measure it if you have so much time in your hands. If you plan to go kiting in 12 to 18 knots then the INFINITY v2 is too big for you and you need to go on the RENEGADE 13 or the SCREAMER 14 kite. These kites have numbers on them.
But any way, I think some one needs to cool down and get wet. Even if there is no wind maybe you could get an SUP and paddle out. No need for the INFINITY v2 kite in these conditions since there is no wind. But at least you get wet and cool off.
P.S. These pictures were taken today 9/4/2012 from Hurricane Leslie swell. As you can see "NO WIND" but at least I got wet.
