Boardbuilding materials: Epoxy, fiberglass, roller, mask, etc

Postby elnica » Tue Sep 04, 2012 5:18 am

I made 4 large boards and still have about 60-70% of the epoxy that I bought. Anyone need some? It's the US Composites 3 to 1 ratio mix. You could probably make over 10 boards with this and the fins too if you have a mold. I'm moving in less than a month, it might be around the corner or it might be Puerto Rico so I need to get rid of all this stuff. Besides, I haven't even ridden all the boards I've made so I don't need to make any more.

I also have some E-Glass 6oz fiberglass, an unused metal roller (for bubbles), 3m mask with the side filters (used twice), unused large plastic measuring cups, unused paint brushes, unused syringes to measure small amounts, and other goodies you need to make a plyboard. I also have a mold to make 45mm fins out of epoxy.

If anyone is interested in anything let me know and I can calculate a price for you.

Any chance you live in California? I'm going to build my first board for the main reason of saving money. Very cool of you to post this.

I live in Ohio but I can send you part of the epoxy if you don't want/need all of it. Minimum would be 12oz of resin and 4oz of hardner (3:1) for $10 plus shipping. That should be plenty for one board, maybe 2 if they aren't huge like the ones I made and you don't mix too much at once (so you don't waste too much). I'll throw in a few pairs of gloves and a measuring cup too.

or

15oz and 5oz for $12 plus shipping.

30oz and 10oz for $18 plus shipping.

Will include a few extra goodies for free (gloves, measuring cups, etc while they last)

Wow. When I saw how little it takes to do a board, I just went out and bought some. I appreciate the offer. Take care.
