Thats a nice video dude! Make some more and maybe with some different angles? I liked it. And have to say you still ride better then me.
But wow.. 11/14 knots? Impressive i wouldnt be able to do that with either the 10 or 12 or 14 due my weight. The infinity v2 does the trick thou.

Cool make some more vids!

This is the reason why you need to make sure you double check on your equipment before you go kiting.

Just wondering Dimitri. How did you lose the kite but keep the bar??
Hello Mr.JamesVegas,
It is very simple, I should of changed my lines on my bar because I have been using them for all summer, but forgot. So while I was kiting, one of my lines broke and the kite went down and crashed so hard on the water and started deflating. By the time I got to my kite I realized that the DEFLATE valve opened up from the hard crash and some water have gotten into the LE of the bladder. (I never put the elastic band around my INFLATE & DEFLATE valve because I pump my kite so hard that when I crash, I rather have my valve open up them having to spend time in repairing my bladder or my Leading Edge of the kite. But in the surf yes I do put the elastic band around the valves and lock my struts to be safe). So I rolled my bar and try to pack my kite the best way I could, then gave my kite to some kiter to take it back to shore and got a ride back from some one else after 10 minutes of swimming who was doing a down winder and was going 3 miles down wind. And since I did a 3 mile up wind to get to that place the timing was perfect.
So the video shows it all. Once I got to the place I started, I took my car and ask my son Cameron to come with me to help me look for my kite and drove back up looking for it, which I was able to find.
This is the reason why I had only the bar with me while I was getting pulled by another kiter.
I hope this answers your question.

Thanks! I couldn't think of a scenario where I'd have my lines but no kite :D

This is another email I got from a customer today.
Man i love EPIC!!!
buddy of mine I have been almost begging to ride an epic rode the 9M 2011 today and loved it. I put him on the 3G 9M and he was blown away his kites are already up on the classified boards hahah he wants epic now!
So if you are in the market for a kite then you definitely need to try an EPIC kite if you get a chance and see what you are missing. If you just bought a kite from another kite company, then don't try an EPIC kite because you might be upset about the purchase you did.
Believe me, I have seen it so many times. This is why I strongly encourage people to try the Epic kites or any kites if they get a chance.
