Kiteing Miami

Postby kitelivy » Wed Sep 12, 2012 10:10 pm

I'm in Miami for a few days and have my board and kites with me.
I went to " kite beachs" to check out where to kite; on most of the extra information sections it talked about times you could kite, qualifications required and insurance. That was only good to maybe kite if you where one of the first come first serve.
I then tried to call some kite schools to find out what the procedure was to kite in the area, and none of the numbers worked.
Can anyone offer me some constructive advise please, I have a car and would like to get on the water.
Thanks in advance! KL

More info on fksa.org, Matheson is a good bet, sea taxi to Stilsville too. There is always Crandon as well.
