Hello all. A light wind kiteboarding session is ideal for comparing on the same day two go pro mounts. Harness mount or helmet mount? Which is the best? Check the following video!

Hi all. My brother gave me his windsurfing harness with the mount for a short kiteboarding test. Next time I'll take some pics of it. I think that the angle of view can be slightly improved just to let the board more visible. To do so it should be possible to change its position on the harness or simply the length of the support wich is a basically a stick. Nevertheless It alrready works fine

Ciao Carlo,
Very nice vid.
The harness back mount is it a custom support you created or is it a standard one could buy ?
Should be very interesting when playing in waves....

Hi Faber. Thanks. I have to ask to my brother. I couldn't noticed anything because the harness back mount was covered with American Tape.

There's a thread on one of the windsurfing forums about making these:
http://forums.boards.mpora.com/showthre ... ight=gopro
Easy to make and works well. I ended up using an aluminium alloy pole because I found that carbon fibre was too fragile. Only downside with these is that you have to drill holes in your harness but luckily I had an old one in the back of the shed.
