C4(2012) vs. RPM(2012) vs. Vegas(2013)

Postby fca » Sat Sep 22, 2012 8:06 pm

Hey guys,

which one is the best for me? I´m searching for good unhooked, kiteloop and stable kite. The lowend should be good.
Someone checked them one on one?

Im thankful for some experiences about these kites...

Try before you buy, all 3 kites are good and everyone has it's own opinion and style of what they like.

C4 and Vegas are better in kiteloops because of the C-shape, RPM is a real wakestyle/freestyle kite and not a big boosting kite or a megaloopkite.

All three satisfy your criteria. You may want to get more specific about your direction, what you've ridden before, some finer points on what you like and your experience.

Could you share your experience with 2013 vegases, any comparisons to 2012? I am interested in testing it but there are no 2013 models around my place yet.

Pick the one that you think has the best design...not sure that is much help.

But his last point is somewhat valid, all these kites as I said will satisfy what you are after. Look for retail price, support etc, now. If it was me I'd look at the Vegas or the C4, because they are the two I have flown 2012, but I know guys that froth over the RPM.

If you intend to go full blown freestyle, then me I'd go the Vegas. If not then the C4. They both do it all, but the C4 to me has a bit more free ride built into it and is a lovely machine that will make you improve your kite flying skills. Can you demo them? They both have a very different feel.

Thank you all for the reviews and advices
My opinion is that the Lowend statistic is like that: 1.RPM 2.Vegas 3.C4 ????

I prefere 4 Line kites than the 5th´s like the vegas.

Is it right to say that the C4 is most flexible kite for unhooked freestyle and freeride? 5-Strut should be very stable. But lowend isnt good i read lot a time.

RPM, is a nice kite for unhooked but for looping and freeride/freestyle not as good as C4/Vegas.

Vegas(2013) should be very nice! I heard a lot of good things about that kite!

The best should be a test of all this kites.

Well. its an all new kite this year, the added some nice lowend for the big sizes, very smooth and stabel as always.
I think, and this is just what i think, the kite has become a more "hardcore" C-Kite than before. Not in a bad way. On freeride setting the kite still suits whatever ride it needs to suit, All over a good kite.

The kite seems ALOT faster this year, wich is ideal for the freeride part. The kite water relaunch has improved alot.

And the new bar is AWESOME - finally fixed the sticky 5th line, so now u dont notice it, at all!

I could keep going, so be more speficic in what you wanna know.
