Ram Airs crash at the Olympics

Postby Pump me up » Fri Oct 05, 2012 3:32 am

Well girls,

The arrival of kiteboarding as an Olympic discipline will go a long way to settling the inflatable vs ram air debate once & for all.

The LIES of ram lovers will be exposed for all the world to see.

Ram lovers have exaggerated their kites’ aerodynamic credentials & light wind abilities for years.

Ram airs WILL crash at the Olympic Games in Rio in 2016. NO riders will use ram airs, especially Flysurfer. Why? Ram airs are too slow, too heavy, & too inefficient. The LIE that they perform better in light winds will be exposed too. More often than not, Olympic sailing is performed in very light winds. If, indeed, ram airs (esp Flysurfer), held any sort of advantage in light winds, Olympic competitors, forever looking for an edge over their opponents, would have chosen/choose them. It won’t happen. NO OLYMPIANS will ride ram airs, not even in ultra-light winds. Ram airs are simply TOO inefficient & aerodynamically INFERIOR compared to inflatables.

Bring on Rio 2016. And keep a close eye on race results (& the dearth of ram airs) until then.

Pumpy

Dearest pump me up,
For years I have read your posts and never felt like responding. Maybe tonight it is the sake running through my veins. I don't know. But hey man, you have a serious mental defect. Who gives a shit I somebody wants to ride a ram air kite. You are either literally retarded or you have an ulterior motive.
I would like to think that you are equal parts doushbag equal parts retard. I'm not talking about like sling blade retard. I'm talking I am Sam retard. Full retard man.

I think your time would be better spent masturbating to monkeys sniffing their own assholes.

And by the way, I agree with you. Ram airs are inferior.

Flysurfer marketing model.

any publicity is good publicity regardless of if its positive or negative

I don't know who pump me up is but he certainly has done a good job of keeping the topic of foils vs inflatable kites in the top of the forums. Heck maybe its Toby. He likes foils and its his site. Pump me up is only on this forum from what I have been able to see.

Marylin Manson had the same strategy. Negative publicity is still publicity.

The act is getting a little old though. I mean really you're still doing this? Its just getting sad now.

Ride whatever you like.

LIE and LEI share the same letters. Very stupid observation but, hey, that's the most clever response to Pumpy's post that I could come up with.

I care even less about pumpies interpretation of Olympic results than I do about the Olympics themselves.

But it's good to know you're still alive and pumping, PMU :bye:
