They could be working on a non-racing Freeride LW specialized kite with lower aspect ratio
17M is the most accepted size for LW
And with North's expertise at making kites.....i will be a "Winner" worldwide
Yes one pump....5 struts.....similar to a Rebel maybe....but made especially for LW performance
I believe this is what was missing in their kite lineup

Ehm it says Dyno on the wingtip.......

It looks sweet. I can tell just by pics that it will have a 1 kt advantage over other light wind kites. Not only that but has the power 20 but turns like an 11.(not 12).This will be the ultimate light wind weapon for at least a few weeks or months.Combine this with north economy pricing and you can't go wrong

Toby would like the 18 size brought back in 2013 so he can get more airtime
I'd say why stop there ..............offer a size 19 in 2013

Dyno LTD 2012, not available for public until October, so.the teamriders could get the best results at Europeans and Worlds. Probably the Dyno 2013 will be pretty much the same, maybe onepump.

Good picture. Both models side by side! It really seems the same kite but without the 2ond strut (counting from the edge).
1st and 3rd struts seem to be at the same distance.
Tried to superimpose the edges of the 7strut model in the same picture over the 5-strut one (adjusting the scale due to the different distance of both kites in the photo). Kites at not at the exact same position and perspective (that's the reason I believe the upper part does not match exactly), but profile width (TE to LE) and aspect ratio seem the same too at least in the lower half of the kite.
2 struts less = less weight
2 struts less = less material, good news... lower price???
Just dreaming a bit....
