Mallorca - para poco viento - when there's little wind

Postby kitesurfgrancanaria » Sun Oct 07, 2012 12:45 pm

... o casi nada ...
Saludos

The intention of this post is not to argue neither to create confrontation (let's see if that is possible), I don't want neither to push this brand in order to "make friends or enemies", the reason of this post is to share my impression about this kite and its size, is a 21 mts.
There were 4 to 6 kts, sometimes, at the end of the session 8 or 10 kts at most; with my 73 kgs of weight, before to buy it, I was a bit afraid because I imagined it very powerful and maybe too agressive dragging given my weight, not true, it is very stable, the power comes gently and I felt very safe at all time, I just wonder why I didn't took this step earlier and I didn't buy one 2 years ago when it first hit the market.
When I tested it I used my three boards, 164x48, a surf board 165 cms and a 132x44 crazy fly.

Only One guy at Mohave that i know of has one of these ; it blows too hard
most of the time for a big kite like that. When it's light though, he's the only guy riding.

I'd like to own one of these for my San Diego runs, but there kinda expensive and
i only go down there once a year so it's not really a justifiable expense for me.

Nice kite though !!!

Bille

You have a GOOD place to kite-board !!
