I hv got mine and just waitin for the wind now....Ggggrrrrr!!!!!!
I hvnt been on a directional board since I hv learnt kitin (9yrs ago^^) so Im sure the first session is gonna be fun and drinkin saltwater!! Haha^^
Killer. You'll be fine. It is an easy board to ride. Very stable for a 5'9''. Place your feet around where the foot strap holes are..it'll give you a starting point. Once you go in light wind you'll move forward a little, and riding waves you'll move your back foot back to the stomp pad.
Peppers, Based off of some recommendations on this forum, I went with the 5'4 Skater. I weigh 170lbs and ride crappy small waves most of the time. Only been out 2 times, but can't say enough about how much fun this board is. I've been kiting for a long time, and mainly ride surfboards with straps. Got this board in hopes of starting to ride strapless a little more. Here's a short video from a few days ago. Winds were around 18-19mph, and I am on a 10m.
