I think it's unfair that only international teamriders have acces to the new kite!!
They must change the production rule. If it's on the production list it must be available to the public , meaning there must be stock in the shops. So any amateur can compete on the same level, with the same gear if he has the money for it. That Dyno kite won't be in the shops before March 2013!!
Am I the only one seeing this problem???

That's a good point. What is the purpose of the rule, if only teamriders have the kites? I guess they had enough team riders to meet the minimum production number
Also, is this a new RRD board? If it is, then they are only for team riders for this race as well?

Just for the record, that is NOT the 2013 Dyno.

I don't think the official name makes much of a difference to the original poster's concern that not everyone can buy the kites yet...
Why call the new version of the Dyno the "Dyno LTD" instead of the "2013 Dyno" when all of the other kites in the range are now 2013 kites?

Kite companies are now dealing with the new Olympic status of kiteboarding and new equipment rules put out by the International Sailing Federation (ISAF). The new green 5-strut Dynos (Dyno LTD) are legal for racing after October 1, 2012, but there will be new Dynos that will be legal for racing after March 31, 2013. According to the new ISAF rules (or proposed rules), there will be no more race kite updates until sometime in 2014 -- but of course, ISAF rules are fluid at the moment.

Probably the next generation freeride big kite for Lw is Fuse with big size 16 and 18,
for only racing and performer kiting the Dyno 3.0 arrive next year.
The spy photo is Dyno 2.5
actually Dyno 2012 is 2.0
