For whatever it's worth, I have a Mystic and love it.

I also love my Mystic Shadow. I'm 6'1" and pretty lean, so it fits me well. For bigger and wider guys, I would recommend the Warrior because it gives a little more support.
I tried last year switching to the Renegade just to try something new, but it didnt work well with my body type.
I would also be interested to try the Underwave harnesses since they are made by the same people who were working at Mystic. They seem like they give good support, but they are slightly heavy

The warrior 3 is awesome, been riding it for 2 years now and its only recently started showing signs of wear. Most of my previous harnesses only lasted 6-12 months before they fell apart. The warrior is not good when wearing directly on the skin as it eats you up and leaves rashes however it works well with a second skin or wetsuit. The dakine pyro my second choice for comfort and durability but the adjustment straps are not that easy to use when compared to the warrior.

Tried everything from Cabrinha, North, Naish, Dakine, PatLove, Slingshot, Prolimit just to mention a few. The Balistic from Slingshot is the one I prefere right now. Maybe the best harness I have tried ever in fact. But the new KL from Naish also look very good. Looking forward to test it on the water.

I had the Mystic Warrior and now ride the Mystic Shadow, primarily in the surf. I have ridden these both with and without a wetsuit and haven't had any chafing issues. The lower profile fits me well (I'm 5'7), and I like how clean the new Shadow is (there's not much for slack lines to catch on if your kite falls). If at all possible, I would try a few on before buying. I have tried on Dakine, Naish, Cab, and others, but the Mystic happened to fit me best.

I vote for North waist harness it is the most comfortable from the ones I've tried.

3 guys here ride the mystic shadow and all of them ride with a tshirt or rash guard under it most times because of chafing.
that said, aside from being made out of razorblades it is a very comfortable harness, and will probably be the one I get next
