Okay so we are looking at visiting Punta Cana the 3rd week of November. As an intermediate Kiter and my wife a solid beginner, is this the right place to go? What is the wind like this time of year. I'm 180lbs and my wife is 125lbs. What kites should we bring? Any first hand info you can share is appreciated.
6m, 8m, 10m, 12.5m is our quiver with a half dozen or so of boards...

Punta Cana is a kick ass flatwater spot ( specialy playa blanca near Club Med, or Kite Club ) but it is for big kites.
I stayed there 3 month and just used a 9 one time. Most of the times it is for 14 or 12.

If you are staying at the Club Med you can launch right from their beach. If you want to launch from Playa Blanca (excellent flat water and learning) they may well charge you $20 for the week. Fair enough as it is well maintained. Enjoy!
