No brainer LBN! Crowd control? You making a mountain out of a hole hill. You want to see busy check out Blouberg. Beside there are plenty other spots in and around the area to try. Join us on Facebook for more info. You will not get the wind you are looking for in Zanzibar.

Thanks for all the useful comments so far, now next question is that I wouldnt mind doing a clinic or at least a few lessons each day, I had thought about using these guys:
http://www.ckperformanceclinics.co.uk/c ... -jan-2013/
Still thinking about it but accommodation comes to about 200GBP ish for most places on the island for 7 nights so thats then 400GBPfor the kite clinic which seems quite a lot, is it?
Any other recommendations on where to stay and/or get lessons, ideally in a place that has it all together
thanks again!

Hi Murvalous,
I've done 3 clinics with CK performance over the years and I cannot recommend them enough. Christian and Karine are the nicest people you can hope to meet, and they know how to teach. You will learn more in 3 days with them than a year kiting off your own back, they taken me from my first attempt at unhooking all the way to various air handlepasses!! The progression I've seen with others at all levels is very impressive. You'll probably pick up 5 or more new tricks and be armed with the info on more. You probably spent thousands on gear and trips so why not spend a little on training on how to use it properly and get the most from those trips?
Have fun!

For kite lessons in Langebaan we would highly recomend Cape Sports Centre. They were the first kite school in the town and have been teaching kiters successfuly for around 13 years.
