Help - Kite Gear Stolen In Miami $500 Reward

A substantial quantity of kite gear was stolen from young German couple vacationing in Miami. It was taken from the trunk of their locked car in South Beach outside their hotel.

Please try to help them. $500. REWARD

Saw an XRide posted on CL in the Miami area in the last few days. Don't know what the size of the missing board is.

Wow, that was quick... I had looked at the ad less than an hour ago.

No I don't. It was a photo of a board matching the description (colors) and with a 305 phone number. The board was specified to be a 133X39 2010 XRide. The photo appeared to have been taken with the board leaning up against a wall in a parking garage. Interesting setting for the photo, I thought.

I wish I had taken a screenshot.

Thanks, perhaps Chris could contact Craigs List for a backup copy of the ad. You are right the setting for the photo seems a bit unlikely for a normal sale. Also, the timing of the removal of the ad so shortly after your post suggests pursuing this with Craigs List would be a good idea.

Here is a photo of the board, a North x-ride kiteboard, white-blue-green. These guys stole a lot of stuff, five kites, two boards and all the accessories that go with.
