anyone know of an online video explaining how to do a strapless shove it, i.e. 180° Ollie
or even if someone can explain to me.

Can't find anything decent online :o

Which way do you want the board to turn?
I think it is easier to have the board
for a transition, if you start to pop..you do not have to release the fins completely..but push into their side to make them kind of cavitate.., do a push pull type thing..push on the tail, while pulling in the front foot.

Use a twin set up at least in the beginning mush easier. My biggest problem has been to make the fins release, and I realize I've not been pushing enough against the fins, but tried to drive them instead.
..but someone can probably better explain this :-)

Seen Reo do this killer front roll with a 360 shuvvit to complete it. It might be called something else...I dunno.

2 kinds of shuvit - push and pop, push is sliding it around, pop is ollie around ( i am skateboarding geek..). Push - take back fin off to learn, push very hard, 180 push shuvits can be used for tacks, u can slide 360 ones too. I did them on my shortboard after stealing them off some dude on a finless 9ft longboard at mokes doing something similar years ago.

pop shuvit hardest, easiest off a small bit of chop of a small lip on a wave, ollie like 40 degrees frontside and let board keep going, you stop and straighten yourself back out so you remain facing same direction but not your board , then turn 180 to going forards again, backwards surfboards bog down loads quick unless real windy.

fs 180s trick is to ollie higher that the fins then you have no worries pushing it around in the air, i flick mike back quick as once again unless cranking my small surfboard does not like to ride backwards very much.

cool to see some new stuff on strapless surfboards looking good, was never really into strapless board off dangle stuff but new tricks are lookin good/skilled with less dangle and more style Keahi's front 3 with late 360 shuvit, that is awesome :thumb:

Same principle as the skim, you just have to push harder.
