Latest project almost done, talk about learning curve! Have anyone thought about making a foilboard for weed conditions? A 45 degree mast joined at the front of the big foil. Both foils would have to be 45 degree as well, so the mast should probably be mounted quite far ahead on the board.

The loads would be large compared to the current design. I guess a stiff design is crucial for the board to be possible to ride?

Thanks Johnny. No all scratch build nothing to base it on other than what I have seen on the interwebs. I've never even ridden one lol. A friend of mine copied the design I had and make a quick proto out of wood and although very basic it flew. He's got a MHL Lift now and loving it. Totally different foil though. I'll be happy if it gets me going a few meters The higher aspect foils tend to be a handful.




Yeah guys are doing this but it creates challenges in terms of design and build. For now I'm happy with this design. You still going to get stuff accumulating at the bottom near the fuselage. Just be careful where you ride. It's not a all terrain board.

I know people who own one and Would let me mold theirs
but
i kinda should try & keep the Karma somewhat =, and don't ride a stolen foil.
So that kinda leaves building my own or don't ride one.

Just to be clear I don't know the guys in clip. Just something I found on YouTube few months ago. But it shows you what can be done. You don't need a massive budget to have some fun.
