Anyone know anything about this board? What its meant to be used for (waves, cruising etc..)

I only own twin tips but just picked this up and not sure what its for

If I were to sell it how much do you think its worth? Its in good condition

Looks like it could be a Fox Watersports custom. From Buxton, NC (Hatteras Is. the OBX).
circa 2001-ish. Made for Don Bowers??
http://www.foxwatersports.com/

They stopped making them years ago. They were made for riding back then. Not really wave specific but I'm sure they were based on their surfboards. I think I tried both a 6' and a 7' custom back then and more recently (someone else bought them to try). They both sucked now and back then. There were a lot of directionals back then that sucked! Not balanced for straps. Perhaps they would ride better strapless?? Worth nothing.

I had one just like that in 2000-2001....with an orange to yellow fade deck..nice custom paint job

"3 straps" was the way kitesurf boards were made then...before we went to the 2 strap set-up

I had fun on it.. they were made kind of narrow in width...and needed more wind to ride them

Board was fiberglass...pretty thin...with concave to double concave...felt a bit heavy

I have an old photo somewhere....riding a 5.0 Wipika 2 line...doing my first real jump...yoohoo!!

Made for Don Bowers??
Made by Don Bowers. Don is a very well known shaper of surfboards and windsurfers on the Outer Banks. Shaped for Fox since the 70's I think. Also well known for his windsurfing and his photography.

BTW here is a picture circa 2000 of that board being ridden. Might be your board
