Zip tie them. You can do the tape but its not that easy. Zip ties work just as good so save yourself a head ache and zip it.I'm speaking from experience I re-valved a 16m havoc when I say I re-valved I mean every single nipple was leaking and there was no way I was going to fight those little collars.

I was gonna put the collars back on to help the resale value but screw it, when I resell this kite, they are getting the kite plus a handful of collars.
