In these super light winds, is there really any advantage in a de-tuned "free-ride" board rather than a full-on race board design? In wind that light you are surely entirely dependent on apparent wind for power, so powered jibing wouldn't be much of a factor - in fact, the trick would be keeping the kite flying when your board speed drops off during the turn?
