They invited us to the party,and then slammed the door in our face,i hope shit like its dangerous,extreme,not for the olympics,will come out of this,where i kite,2 windsurfers,probaly 50 kitesurfers,anybody got stats on this,TONY

in fact non of the sailing disciplines should be in the real olympics. they are not athletic disciplines like the classic disciplines. i mean how hard is to kite race physically? ok, you may pull you toe muscle doing that eventually...
they are all just hobbies. you don't see car racing, golf, poker, chess or monopoly in the olympics!

Unbelievable, that it's even legally possible to reverse the decision now. Seems like a lot of RS:X sailors have already happily switched to kite racing.
Several RS:X Olympic medalists speaks well about kite racing. If this is a general sentiment among former RS:X sailors, then please speak up!

It doesn't change the fact that we are still the fastest on the water. Now we should concentrate on staying faster and keep pissing the other classes of with the cheapest and easiest handling gear...
