Kiteboarding can get back to concentrating on it's real roots now without trying to reinvent kiteboarding history and kiteboard racing for $$.
Racers can choose their own path /rules without interference, new classes will emerge suited to whatever individuals want to do or can afford. Kooks cannot comment or have influence on something which they know very little about.
Kiteboarders can look after themselves, the kind of politics/bureaucracy involved in the whole affair was such a huge turn off, so far removed from the freedom of kiteboarding we have known and loved so far - so long may it stand.
Kiteboarders don't need to take the piss out of sailing or windsurfing, just enjoy what you do and let others enjoy what they do.
Still, a very interesting affair, and a lot learned about a lot of people, showing their true colors.
