If wind guru or windfinder shows cloud cover or rain, Mui ne beach will be funky ( side to offshore gusty) wind. In that case its better to go to the wave beach ( hon rom beach) or soui nuoc ( turtle island) beach.
There has been wind every day day untill now, not the best wind though, not yet..but people are out on 11's and 9's.
Rule nr1. the less cloud cover windguru and windfinder have, the more likeley you get what you see, wind wise.
Hope this helps

Well, I've been here two days and skunked both days. Today I did get out for about 15 minutes on m 12 meter. I was just barely able to stay up wind. The wind died down considerably after that. I gave my kite to the gf who weighs 48 kilos and she kited easily most of the afternoon.
So, I'm on a diet. If I want to kite in Vietnam apparently I need to lose 30 kgs.
