Rocking a quiver of '09 LF Havocs and the old LF Element from around '05 with boots. Love that they brought back the Element this year.

i have 1x 09, 1 x 2010, 2 x 2011, 1 x 2012
I am a near new second hand hunter. So buy when the style of kite i want comes up for cheap.
I was of the philosiphy to change my most used kite each year.
Now i have a decadent 5 kite quiver the wear in each kite is minimal. I'm going to get at least 2 years from my most used kite and more out of the least used ones.
PS I have no kites with repairs. I will replace a kite if gets major damage.

I love people who buy kites with a plan to learn, but never do and sell me their Kites a year later for half price!
Anyone know how I can contact all those rsx windsurfer guys who spent the last 6 months learning to kite? I bet they have some good deals on lightly used racing equipment.

2008 Nemesis HPs 7m, 9m, 10m and 14m. I also have a 2007 16m Bularoo, 2007 13m Waroo Pro and a 2007 3M Waroo (for my kids). They just keep on going. Awesome kites. No reason to change until they die.

I am one of those used kite buyers always looking for a good deal. I figure if it flew the kite rock stars around in 08 or 09, it will pull me around just fine. I love my T2 and T3 and I am probably too loyal to them just because of the abuse I have put them through without a leak. On the other hand, I bought some 09 Starkite S-bows and would love to sell them, but I just couldn't pass on my frustration with them to someone else. When I do manage to keep air in them and keep them patched up, they fly OK, so I will just fly them until they are rags instead of passing on the problem. Maybe one day I will grow up and start buying newer stuff, but for now I am like some of the others on here hoping to be the first one to find someone who bought nice kites and let them sit in the garage for 2 or 3 years. I am all for Posers buying the best stuff. That keeps the pool of older kites crispy

My main kites are from 2010 and see use year round [~80 days/yr]. I'm going to get 2 new kites for the core of my quiver - mostly just for some variety. I'll keep the old kites as they are in good condition with only 1 repair each.
I tend to buy 1 or 2 new boards a year and sell 1 or 2 older ones - again just for variety.
When I do buy new gear I tend to buy in the fall when the next year's product has been announced and the current year's new stock is discounted ~30%+. Most kites aren't changed each year so if you are smart you can get a 2012 product now for 30% off that's the same as the 2013 product except for the graphics.
