Is there any advantage to the funky patch pattern?
Ripstop? Anti-stretch? For looks?

Cushion the bar ends could be nice for a surfers control bar.
My surfboard has several dings from my bar.

A bit higher than 2012 but still pretty light. You need to pull a bit harder to get a tight turn.

It can also tolerate hanging off the bar without stalling the kite. better for recoveries from off balance

I love my 2012 - would I really notice much improvement by switching into the 2013?
