kites are '11, slingshot & ozone. '09 slingshot needing repair is a backup of sorts. Build my own twin tip boards, to suit me, wood strip/epoxy glass -they last (no sliders). Have a '05 jimmy lewis surfboard that is going strong (though not used for BIG air). If you find a JL that suits, you can ride it as long as you care to.

My Q-Power line sets are f*&#@ 10 years old and still negligible wear and perfectly working. Used them a fair bit. Amazing. My North lines either look like crap and/or snap after less than 2 years on the job.

Mainly 2010 Naish Helix, plus small 2012 Naish Bolt 2010 Naish Global 5.7 2012 Naish Global 5.5 (bought used, but like new) 2009 North X-Ride
I only buy new kites on sale or slightly used. Same with boards.
As I do not have the time to be as much on the water as I would like to I like to keep my current quicker for some time to have it fully dialed.

Just remember, i am still rocking the first Mystic Warrior 1 harness, replaced the spreader bar with that dynbar V3 a few years ago, the harness has hold up well, for being almost 6 years old it's in 7/10 condition

The equipment i actually own is really old, its a OR bronco 9m from 2003 and a naish X3 18m, also 03 and a full carbon f-one sk8 from 03 too i think, or maybe 04. Board was bought second hand at surf one in leucate, france. Goooood memories. Ride the board sometimes, kites dont see the light of day much anymore unfortunately. I mostly ride the schools stuff. Anyone else bothered by the title? is, it should be is. Not important, just a thorn in my grammar-eye every time i see the frontpage.. sorry.

Fun thread 05 5m fuel 08 7m fuel 07 11m fuel All my bars are cobbled together from parts and that cost me once when I forgot to put in the proper stopper knot on a steering leader line I don't think the SS bars are special but I think the kites can take a lot of wear which is why I'm sticking with them. My 11m was like an old sock when I got it but it's still going... reinforced the LE a couple times.... so easy to pack it away it's so flimsy I use my kites all 4 seasons.
